Rabbi Yaakov Menken serves as Managing Director of the Coalition for Jewish Values, the largest rabbinic public policy organization in America. He is thus the spokesperson for the beliefs and interests of over 2,000 American rabbinic leaders, promoting traditional Jewish values in American public policy.

He is also the Founder and Director of Project Genesis, a leader in online Jewish outreach and education that publishes Torah.org, TorahMedia.com, JewishAnswers.org and other content-rich websites. He co-edits Cross-Currents.com, an online journal of Orthodox Jewish thought and opinion on current issues, with Rabbi Yitzchok Adlerstein of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Rabbi Menken is also a fellow of the Amud Aish Memorial Museum, focusing upon the study of modern anti-Semitism.

Besides over 4500 Torah thoughts and articles published on the aforementioned websites, Rabbi Menken has also been published in Fox News, Newsweek, the Federalist, the New York Observer, American Greatness, the Spectator, the Jerusalem Post, the Times of Israel and elsewhere. He is also the author of “The Everything Torah Book,” published by Adams Media.

Rabbi Menken earned his Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University in Computer Science, and pursued Rabbinic studies in Yeshivas Ohr Somayach, Beth Medrash Gavoha in Lakewood and Jerusalem, and the Mirrer Yeshiva Jerusalem, before founding Project Genesis in 1993.
